Cynthia Nkiruka Anyadi is a PhD Student at Royal Holloway, University of London. Her research explores memorial souvenirs in Igbo Nigerian culture across Nigeria, Germany and England. Its aim is to use 3D modelling, object stories and oral histories to build an interactive open access digital archive.
Cynthia is also Head of Partnerships at Black Geographers CIC and leads their annual summer internship ‘Fi Wi Road: Freeing up futures for Black Geographers’. The main aim of Black Geographers CIC and Fi Wi Road CIC is to help Black Geography and Geoscience students build their network, offer them paid opportunities, and help to transform the discipline into being a more open, supportive, and welcoming space for Black students and researchers.
