Workshop: Oral Storytelling for Heritage
IROKO Theatre Company present a free workshop which involves hands-on exploration of oral storytelling performance techniques. Oral storytelling is a brilliant way to tell a story using voice and gestures. It can include poems, chants, rhymes, songs and more. It is a unique platform allowing people to come together, reminisce, share cultural folk tales, create new stories or swap narratives. FREE Guided Tour of The Museum of London, Docklands
IROKO Theatre Company in collaboration with Our Heritage UK and Treasure Supplementary School, are organising a guided educational tour to the Museum of London Docklands, as part of the ‘Home from Home’ project, supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. Participants will be able to learn about African/Nigerian arts and artefacts at the museum.

IROKO Theatre Company together with various cultural groups will be visiting the British Museum for a free guided tour to view the African and Nigerian arts and artefacts at the museum. The visit is part of the ‘Home from Home’ project, supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
