Home from Home’ provided 169 members of the public from varied backgrounds (education, heritage, libraries and the local community) volunteering opportunities. Participants in the volunteering programme acquired and or developed soft skills, or heritage, research and archiving skills that can help to facilitate their entry into the heritage industry.
