Dr. Lookman Sanusi is a creative professional with experience spanning over 35 years.
He has been an art consultant on projects that included the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (2013), the 1st Annual Nigerian Culture Day Festival in Berlin, Germany (2019), the BBC drama series Noughts and Crosses (2020) and the recently commissioned JK Randle Center for Yoruba Culture and History (2022). Lookman is the creative director at Heavy Wind Media UK Limited and has completed his PhD research at the University of Westminster, London.
In this interview, Dr Sanusi discusses his roots in theatre in Nigeria, creating his own production company in the UK and the challenges of following your passion in the arts.
