Prince Mike Abiola is a British – Nigerian journalist and founder of the African Film Awards. He is the Editor in Chief of African Voice Newspaper UK.
Mike has been at the forefront of developing the film industry in Africa. He pioneered the popularity of Nollywood (Nigeria’s film industry) in Europe.
Mike Abiola has received several awards, listed as one of the 100 outstanding Nigerians in the United Kingdom in the last 100 years by Nigerian Centenary Awards UK, one of the top 50 most successful Africans in the UK with a niche market product patronised by the mainstream and was presented with Ambassadors Award by the Nigeria British Awards.
